Examinations and unit tests are compulsory for all students. The details of examinations and unit tests for Classes I to XII are already provided under the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system.
For all examinations, we strictly follow the C.B.S.E. curriculum and question patterns.
Students who are absent for any reason will not be re-examined. If a pupil cannot appear for the entire examination due to valid reasons, their case will be considered based on the year's academic performance.
Any student found using unfair means in an examination will receive a zero for that paper and will be debarred from appearing in the remaining exams. Repetition of such misconduct may result in dismissal from the school.
The school operates on a two-term system consisting of Half-Yearly and Annual Examinations. In addition, Monthly Tests are conducted regularly to monitor student progress. A detailed progress report is shared with parents to keep them informed about their child’s academic performance.
Appearing in the Final Examination is mandatory for promotion to the next class. The weightage of assessments is as follows:
| Monthly Tests | 10% |
| Half-Yearly Examination | 40% |
| Annual Examination | 50% |
The decision of the School Authorities regarding promotion is final. To pass in any subject, a pupil must secure at least 40% marks (Grade ‘C’).
Prizes are awarded to individual pupils and classes for excellence and proficiency in various curricular and co-curricular activities.
