Christ Jyoti School, Odgady is a private, unaided, minority English Medium School under the general management of the Catholic Diocese of Satna, registered under the M.P. Society Registration Act, 1964 (Reg.No. 3276 of 28/04/1973). It is locally managed by St. Ephrem’s Catholic Church, Odgady in collaboration with the Sisters of Franciscan Clarist Congregation (FCC). The management enjoys minority rights as ensured in the Constitution of India (Article 30). The school had its humble beginning in the year 2012 at Odgady.
Responding to the interest of parents and well-wishers, the school gradually evolved into a CBSE-affiliated institution. The school bears the name ‘CHRIST JYOTI’. Christ means the Redeemer and Jyoti means Light, symbolizing Jesus Christ, who said, "I am the Light of the World." His mission enlightens us and guides students from darkness to light — Tamaso-ma Jyotirgamya (“Lead Kindly Light”).
